Default Headers for my 67 coupe?

I noticed the park brake linkage looks to be in the way of headers. I have the headers on my crashed 88 that I was thinking of putting on the 67. Would it work? Would I have to modify the park brake linkage or something for clearance? I guess if I do through the whole 5.0/T5 setup into the 67, from the 88, this would still be a problem.

Hmm, I cant even remember where the parking brake comes out at! Doh! 65 and 67 might (probably) are different though. I would give it a go before you go buy new headers, you already have them and it shouldnt take too much time to try it out.

I was thinking I will just try it and see what happens. If it doesn't work, I would try to modify it first. If that doesn't work, I'll have to figure something out. May use the one off the 88. But then that takes away from the original look at a glance though the window. I like the Hurst shifter on the T5, but I was thinking of getting the shifter that look original, but connects to to T5.

I've got long tube headers on a 5.0 in my 67. I don't recall an installation problem or clearance problem.

I pulled the engine and tranny and found that the pipes seem to be shorties. It looks like the pipes end at the original spot for the exhaust. So it shouldn't be a problem. I didn't really look that closely before. I just looked at the engine and saw headers.
Thanks for the info.
