Question Headliner insulation

I just purchased new headliner insulation for the roof. My question is, and to further prove my ignorance, which side glues to the roof? One side is pure insulation while the other side has a semi-rigid felt-type backing. I sure don't want to glue the wrong side. Also, does anyone know where you can buy pre-cut insulation for the back sides (above the package tray). I was thinking of just buying another set of headliner insulation from Mustangs Unlimited (only $13) and measuring and cutting my own. Not sure if it was the same type of insulation or not, or if it even matters. Thanks.
