69 rear spoiler placement
Can anyone supply me with the origional placement of the rear spoiler mounting holes, on the trunk cover of a 69 Mach 1?
The exact distance from the leading edge of the cover to the center of the first hole would be all I need. thanks ------------------ |

I also posted this on another site to see if we could get a response, I'll let you know. ------------------ 69 351W Sportsroof deluxe [This message has been edited by Clark Rodgers (edited 11-19-1999).] |

Daleford, my buddy's on another site came through with some help. If you can get the May issue of Mustangs & Fords there is an article about installing the rear spoiler. The article has alot of good pictures, hope this helps.

Thanks Chuck. I'm not sure how plentiful a May issue will be around here, but I'll look.
In case I have no luck, and you get 'leading edge to center of first hole' measurement, --- appreciate you letting me know. Thanks again. Dale ---e-mail dtmustang@east.pe.ca |

Dale, if you get the support bracket that mounts under the deck lid it will line up, because the bracket picks up one of the trunk lid bolts. So when you mount the bracket it will give you perfect line up holes. Just be easy with the drill pressure because you can dent the metal. If this does not make any sense shoot me an e-mail (clark.rodgers@alliedsignal.com) I was going to e-mail you this response but I wanted to make sure that everyone could read this.
