heater box question
 

Hi all, I am new to the site and new again to mustang ownership. I have a question about the heater box on a 66 mustang. I will be pulling it out today to clean it up and repaint it this weekend. My question is what color are they coming out of the factory? Are they all black, or are they painted to match your interior? I have a partchment pony interior, I do not have a/c and I am talking about the assy/ behind the glove box and below it on the passenger side to include the vent. Not owning a pony car for the past 25 years, I will probably have a lot of questions and most probably pretty basic. Thanks for any help in advance. Phil

came out of the factory black.............but ya shouldnt really beable to see the box unless your sitting upside down in the seat :p
