Cool Heater Core Removal

I have a leaking heater core on my '65 convertible. I have removed all screwws and latches from the heater box BUT.... it seem to be stuck in the upper right hand side of the box...How can I get the box cover off to see the heater core nd replace it.. Any suggestions...What am I missing???

Why are you doing it in the car, take the whole box out and replace it out of the car,it sounds like the cowl gasket is keeping you from removing the cover off
btw when you try to put it back together in the car, you will learn why I say to take the whole box out first

If I remember correctly there is a nut on the upper right. But yes deffinitly take the whole box out and then split it. I dont think you can even get it far enough apart to get the core out.
