help with 66 trunk lock

I am installing a new trunk lock and I am unsure about what holds the sleeve in place. when I have it installed I can pull it out with my fingers. I know I am missing something here. Anyone got any tips?

Do you have the clip that locks the lock in place, on the inside of the trunk?
