Default Help with a engine tick any thoughts?

When I start the car cold there is a tick on the passenger side of the engine(428) After about 30 seconds the tick goes away and does not return untill the engine cools down. What do you guys think?

Either a sticky lifter or a valve adjustment. Take the valve cover off and compare and check.

If it completely goes away after thirty seconds then I would think it's probably fairly normal. One of you r lifters is taking a little longer to get oil into it than the others.

Check for an exhaust leak. When it heats up the metal expands and would stop it. Use the old rubber hose trick to find it.

Sounds like a lifter. If it isn't that loud and it goes away, leave it alone.
