Question here is a weird question

hi
i know this is a bizzarre thing to ask, but i am going insane here ............
do '68 mustangs have window sprayers? you know for cleaning the windscreen?
if so,where is the control?! i am pretty sure my car had one, it has the tank for the fluid and a line that goes toward the wind screen. I just can't find the switch anywhere. maybe it was installed after? help APPRECIATED

Thumbs up

I'm not familiar with the 68's but on my 66 you just have to pull out on the wiper switch. Pull on it gently and listen for a little electric motor. If you hear it then you probably just need to make sure all the lines are connected and fill the tank. If the knob pulls out but you don't hear anything than it's probably disconnected. Then again the 68's could be completely different than the 66's. It's worth a shot though.

I'm also not sure about the 68's, but Stefan described how my 66 works exactly. I used to have a 67 with the deluxe interior....and there really wasn't a switch....there was a small pedal by your left foot just above the headlight dimmer switch. It is actually a pump and how fast/hard you pump it determined how much/hard the spray is. It also activated the wipers for one swipe.

If this is the same setup you have, and it does not work, then look into replacing all the hoses....although a rotten hose would probably show with a leak.

I found it and it works!
I hadn't even realised that it could be that pedal, i was looking all around the wheel column instead. Thankyou SO much.

nope...your car didn't have it....I think it was only the 67-68 cars.
