hi, will a hi flow cat make my truck sound louder? I already have a magnaflow dual exhaust system. will the hi flow cat make my truck sound louder? thanks, please reply

i have a ford ranger v6 3.0 L 2000

Dude, help keep the forums clean. If it isn't applicable to that particular forum then keep the topic out of that forum. Your topic has nothing whatsoever to do Classic Mustangs and therefore deserves no place in this forum.

Your topic should also not be spread out over every forum on this board. That is bad ethics and isn't pleasant for anybody.

If you have a legitimate post concerning your truck then post it in the truck forum and leave it there. Someone will answer it in due time.

Reminds me of when I went looking for glass packs when I was younger. I didn't know what glass packs were but I knew they made cars louder!

I'll guess that a high flow catalytic converter will make the truck louder but probably not noticeably so. If you want loud, install some exhaust cut outs from JC Whitney. Then you can uncork the headers whenever you want. There might be a sensor in the exhaust of the new vehicles so it might not be a good idea. Just get a classic mustang with a big block V-8 and go make some noise.
