Question Wood steering wheel

Recently purchased '66 fastback with a pony interior. Was the wood steering wheel standard with the pony interior or was this an additional option? Looking for either original or reconditioned to match other woodgrain items inside. Any help?

The pony interior did come with the woodgrain as part of the pony interior. Trying to find original one's are difficult but they make a reproduction that is close for about $180.00 at Mustangs Unlimited.

Thanx. I called Mustang Unlimited and they do not stock the woodgrain wheel. I did call Mustangs Central and they told me a company in Italy makes real good copy of original. Cost is $190.00.

Another question I have is correct tire size for the style steel rims. I am going to buy the standard size wheel for the '66 which I think is the 14x5. Wanted to buy a BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. Do you have recommended size for tires?

The standard tire size is 695-14 and the conversion is P185/75R14. The BF goodrich 6.95 X 14 dual red line tires can be purchased if you are looking for the original look.
Personally I would go up to a P205/70R14 these tires will fit and look great!
