Default Engine has not timing mark....

The jackass who rebuild my engine(before my ownership, of course) forgot to put a timing mark on. I have an aftermarket timing mark that I want to put on....where the hell does it go. Assuming next to the crankshaft pulley, but on which side and which bolts..?

Thanks a ton.
