140 in a 69 Mustang???

I don't think that you can put enough horsepower behind that brick to make it go that fast. LOL

Calm on now. I have seen it done very easily in a 69. There are lots of 428s out there go can exceed 140 mph. My car ran 90 mph in second gear never got to 3rd. This is with 4.30 gears. I am pretty damn sure if I took those out and put in some 2.73 or even higher i would execed well over 140.

Besides if you ever go to a NHRA national event and watch the Super stock classes You will see a more than one 69 with a 428 running well into the nines at over 140. Then there will be a whole bunch of them well into the tens in the stock classes at well over 120. JUst to let you know.
