Looks good! I told everyone I knew it wasn't hard to do, but those idiots kept paying $120 for a pre-fabricated one

Cost me about $30 and 2-3 hours of time.....it's a lot sturdier than the pre fabricated ones too....

I'm am going to remove my rear seats here in a few weeks. I'm trying to get some Ideas on how I should do it...

What did you make it out of? Could you give me a short "how to" description on it?

By the way, it looks really good

you think it would be feasable (sp?) to build a sub box to fit that? it would save my hatch space and I have been wanting to do a rear delete anyways.....

I set up a lil site for mine when I finished my delete a few months ago, but its an SN95, so I don't think it will do you much good We decided not to do one for the notch...just not the same. The rear seats looked way better IMO.

4cyl: I thought about doing a sub box for mine right there.... however right now I have a rf 10 in a truck box.... i sat it on top of the rear seat delete and it didn't put out nearly as much sound due to the fact the sub wasn't bouncing the sound off the hatch. Something to keep in mind.

Cyberstang5.0: I'll take some pics of the inside later and post them with a description of basically what I did. I made the top piece where it lifts out so I could put my amp and speaker wires and stuff underneath it(and anything else I might want to hide from people )

Oh and I weighed everything that I took out of the car and it comes out to a little over 60lbs... the wood/carpet and stuff I used for the rear seat only weighed 10lbs max so that's a nice 50lbs savings...

Thumbs up

Looks awesome!!!! That is EXACTLY what I have needed for my car but I have been too lazy to build. Any interest in building another one for a few bucks profit? There is a definitely a market for these for 87-93 cars!

FivepointOH, that looks very nice! Much better alternative to buying a pre-fabricated delete kit. Imagine how much money you could make selling that as a kit if you make it for $30 and turn around and sell it for $130.....anywyas, very nice craftsmanship!

RdRunnr: Me and my buddy who made them for each of our cars actually thought about doing something like that. However the 2 that we made varied a little bit between our cars and we didn't want to mass produce a whole bunch and have them not exactly fit into peoples cars and run into a bunch of pissed off people and legal troubles.... i'm finishing the back today and will post some pics...
