Default I6 to 302 conversion??

Sorry if this has been posted many times, i tried to search for a thread like this but got no luck. New to the forum, and classic mustangs

I just bought a 67 mustang with the inline6 engine. I'm looking to drop possibly a 302 in it, but have no idea where to start.

so my questions are: what will i be needing to replace? and will i have to do new frame work for the rear end??

thanks to all that can help !!

no frame work needed.if u have the motor it should be straight foward.u will need the motor mounts and tranny mount, exhaust, idk about the rear end but if it is a smaller rearend then the v8 u can just get the rearend from a v8 car and bolt it in,or u could still use the smaller rear end if u dont plan on beating the crap outta it
