Default Re: IFS drop spindles on 65-66?

Sorry, my post was meant as a lame attempt at a laugh. However if you are attempting to switch spindles from side to side, that won't work because of the tie rod arm pointing in the wrong direction. Good luck, Dave

P.S.....about 25 years ago I swapped a linclon versailles disc brake rearend into my 66 stang........me and my buddy spent 4 months and about 3 gallons of brake fluid and 6 different master cylinder combos to get the correct pedal height and feel.......thus my lame attempt for a laugh.

This post being so old reminded me of that and I laughed at the thought that this car had been on jackstands for 6 years and they were still trying to figure out how to make those spindles fit! (obviously it could'nt have been but I am easily ammused)
