				 |  1968 transmission problems Hey I have a problem with my car. when you put it into gear it lurchs forward or sometimes stalls. I have a 302 with a c-6 trani. I've adjusted the carb many times, checked the timing. I think the rpm's are to high what can I do to resolve this problem. Thx

				 |   If you've tried backing off the idle screws to the point where it stalls, you're probably going to need a high stall torque convertor.

				 |   What are your engine rpm's at idle?  Is the engine modified?  What kind of engine vacuum do you have at idle?  Have you checked for vacuum leaks? |

				 |  thx when i bout the car it had many vacum leaks and i could have missed one the car is not modified. I will loook for vacum leaks maybe i missed one so i will check again thx alot i really Appreciate the help.
