Inline Six stuff
OK, before everyone starts laughing that I haven't ripped out my 200 for a 289 .... what have you guys with 200's done to your engines? Let me preface this with "I am not trying to make 200 or 300 hp from this engine." I just want it to run as good as it can. Mine is a strong rebuilt 200 that runs perfect compression and burns no oil. It is perfect for cruising and gets decent gas mileage. Stock 120hp isn't gonna throw your head back but it's a hell of a lot of fun to drive. Has anybody done a 2v upgrade? Any suggestions on giving it a tad more umph? Remember, I am not trying to run with the big boys, but just trying to have fun with a six. All your input would be greatly appreciated as the 6 cyl. topics don't surface too often (I would have posted this in the Small Ponies section but that seems to be all SVO and late model 4 bangers and 6 bangers. Thanks in advance for anyone that wants to jump in. Help!

Thanks for the link. Educate me here. What exactly is the Holley projection carb? I'm not familiar with it. The link to your website wouldn't work so if you explain it there I can't access it. Surely there's a few more 6'ers out there. What are you guys doing to your engines?
As always, thanks! Stefan |

My web page is http://www.donald.riggins.com
holley projection is a fule inducted carb. The kit includes carb computer and inline electronic fule pump. P/N = 501-12 see @ http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...SFI/FMSFI.html This is for the Jeep and a spacer would have to me hand made to get it to work. As far as I know no one has tried this. ------------------ 66' coupe 200 inline 6 |
