Default Intake Manifold?

Ok here is the deal i took my 73 351 cleveland out after some adjustments to the carb and it ran strong! and hard! it had a hesitation off the line for about a sec or two and i pretty much fixed that no more hesitation!.

My problem occured after i returned from the local backroads from 2 hard passes and cruised home. I then checked everything out and had a problem with the intake manifold bolts ( I have a 351 torker) they were all pretty much loose except for 2-3 of them and lost 3?. What could cause this? everything was fine before bolts were tight? i thought maybe someone tried to steal it and got scared and left. I had 1 day before checked everything and everything was fine when i put a new starter in.

I think you're right. Someone must have loosened them. Hard to believe that all those bolts torqued to 22 lb/ft would just come loose by themselves.

Silly question, but have you done a careful walkaround of the car to make sure nothing else is missing from on it or in it? That sucks.
