Default Lowered A arms on 69

I am going to lower the A arms 1" for better cornering. Has anyone made this modification and if so, how do you like it? This is supposed to be like some Shelbys, and now is the time since I am completely rebuilding the front end now. I have a few days to decide as the parts are not here yet. Thanks in advance.

Get a Tony Branda Performance Catalog!! it has all kind of info on lowering you a arms and even has a template and tells what camber and toe in settings work best with each year car!!!
Check out my car in it 1966GT350 convertible replica!! I'm proud!
