Question lowering rear, how will it ride?

I've rebuilt the entire suspension on my '66. When rebuilding the front-end I also lowered it 1". New springs on rear are factory ride height. I've decide to use a 1" block kit to lower rear. Question is who has used the block kits and how do they effect the ride? Don't want to lose too much ride quality.

It shouldn't change the ride very much, the
leaf spring will still be in the same place the axle will just be moved lower. It might improve your cornering with the lower center of griavity.
