![]() Hey guys
Anyone out there familiar with electronics with the wiring from front to back on the tail lights. My rt rear brake and turnsignal won't work. I've tried a different bulb, and tested the wires at the back of the taillight housing. Running lights are ok on both sides. Someone told me it was the flasher unit,,,but why would my left turnsignal and brake light work??? Are there seperate flashers? Any help would be appreciated.

![]() its not your flasher, check the grounds, also, maybe try plugging in the right side housings (one at a time) to the opposite side of the car that does work, this might show you that theres something wrong with one of them,.,...if they both work, it's your wiring that is going bad on one or both of the units on your right side.

![]() Probably not your problem since one side does work but I had a similar problem with my 68 except that several of my lights weren't working. After a few works of trying everything else I discovered my fuse box had formed a layer of surface rust where the fuses snap into. After I took a very small piece of sandpaper and removed the rust from all the holders, magicly everything worked like a charm. Hopefully your problem is something simple also. Like was already mentioned check the ground near the fuel filler neck inside the trunk (at least that's where mine is on my 68).

![]() When I purchased my 66 none of the electircal work in the rear of the car except the gas guage. I just took everything out and cleaned everything up real good and put it all back together. It work wonderfully!!! I would also so say not your flasher. Does your right front flasher work? I would just try to clean everything and make sure your grounds are in good contact.
