Unhappy My Clutch Pedal Stuck To The Floor

HEY GUYS ITS ME AGAIN

It never seems to STOP with my '66 289cid Convert.
Not that I'm complaining, I really like the car. Only had it since Father's Day ~ my wife's gift to me. GOD bless that women.

O.K. here's what happened this morning.

Got in the (Sun.) to go to church. Started the car and pushed down on the clutch and BANGO! the clutch pedal stuck to the floor.

I had to pick it up back into its regular position. No problem afterward, she sliped in and out of gears just fine.

But what do I look for under the car to make sure this doesn't happed again.

O.K. guys that's about it ~ till next time.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Default Re: My Clutch Pedal Stuck To The Floor

If the linkage or pedal didn't snag something when you fully depressed it...sounds like the pressure plate went too far and overcentered. Adjust it so it doesn't push the throw out bearing in so far. IE, more free pedal.

Unhappy Gearhead: How Do I Adjust The Clutch Pedal?

Hi GearHead

Thank you for your advise about my stuck clutch pedal.
However, being new at all this auto fix it stuff.

Can you please tell me how to adjust that clutch pedal please

I have a the manual for my '66 'stang. So I can look-up the parts to adust if you be so kind

Nice little baby steps if you don't mind. This 65yr. ol' brain of mind is a little rusty ~ I need some axle grease for it . . . lol

THANK YOU GEARHEAD
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
