This post is helping me with my choices of parts too. i have the exact same engine, i plan on getting the weiand x-celerator intake, and carter afb 625cfm carb. i think 750cfm is a little to much for the 2v heads, but if you port them, maybe it wouldnt be.

Then finish it off with some headers and some dynomax "hemi" race mufflers. By the way i have electronic ignition do you "71grande" ? If i get the money im going to put in a msd 6a ignition unit. I hear they help out quite a bit.
