Post need Boss 302 info

Can anyone help Me figure out why my Boss 302 has Boss 429 shock towers,,,,They appear factory installed and cannot find any history,,,,looking for suggestions as where to start

I dont understand what you mean but, heres some info on both towers 302/429.

The 429 almost doesnt have towers. They have the appearance of being caved in at the bottom as they head toward the frame. They were built on different assembly lines than the 302's.

The 302 towers are the same as the other Mustangs. Both engines have a massive wraparound-brace at the bottom of the tower.

You may need to contact somone with prduction figures on each car. Tracking your VIN #.

Ford contracted Kar Kraft in Brighton,Michigan,to build the Boss 429 cars. The 429 front track was a inch wider than the 302's. Also the 429 fender lips were cut so the F60-15 tires would fit.

Thats all I know about any BOSS.

Geeeez,must be nice to have a BOSS Mustang
