Need help for '66 transmission!!!
 

I have a 200 straight six cruise o matic. I believe it is a c4 tranny model pcs-y.

I recently brought my car in to get a check up on the tranny cause I knew it has been leaking some fluid. The mechanic showed me it was leaking from the transmission manual linkage, possibly the o-ring and the modulater. There could also be a chance the case is cracked but they won't know without taking things apart.

I need to know if a c4 tranny from a 1979 ford fairmont with the same motor size will fit my car. Also, I heard that a T5 tranny will fit the six with a few minor adjustments to a bracket.
