Need someone with an 87-93 Coupe to get me some measurements
I need a measurement across the rear deck so I can purchase a spoiler.
I need the distance across the entire rear deck at the back of the car (outside of fender to outside of fender), and the distance across the deck lid itself for the mounting bolts in the same area. If you see this Drew you will know what I need so help me out if you can. Thanks.

ok Kevin, heres what I got.
the very back of the decklid measures 54". Inside quarter panel to quarter panel measures 54 1/2" My spoiler's outter mounting holes (farthest rearward) are 51 3/4" apart. About 1 3/8" from the edge of the decklid. If this isn't clear enough, I can draw you up a little scetch in AutoCad if you can read those type of files.

just incase you can't receive autocad files. I pasted the whole screen into a jpeg file.
Let me know if you need more than this p.s. i forgot to add the dimension for the mounting locations. They are 1.125" in from the sides of the decklid.

So in other words a 59 1/2" wide spoiler would stick out too far past the fenders? If I remember right there is only a couple inches from the edge or the decklid to the outside of the quarter so that would mean I need a spoiler approximately 58" wide. Is that right?
Thanks Drew.

It wouldn't stick out TOO bad. Maybe about 1/2" or so past where the quarter panel drops off. As long as your mounting holes aren't more than about 52" apart, it should be fine.
Do you have a picture of the spoiler?

I used to be really good at it when I used it alot, but I think I've temporarily forgotten just a few things . I had a few classes with it my first year of college (last year) and also with Mechanical Desktop, which is very nice to have once you learn how to use it.

Not many updates yet Rick. I'm still waiting til last to buy the motor and tranny, and I'm still waiting on the guy at the body shop to get caught up to get the body work going. Actually, I am calling another guy about the body work to see what he can do and for how much. He's actually better, but better means more money too. If I can get a garage built between now and then I'll just do it all myself.
Next on the list to purchase is a Griggs K-member and tubular control arms along with a set of 96-02 spindles, Bullitt 13 brakes, and coil-overs. After that I am buying the Griggs rear torque-arm/panhard bar setup to get the rear end mounted. I need to get the body work going so I can start assembly though. If you guys saw the pile of spare parts I have for this buildup you'd have a cow!
