Default need a motor

well this is what I have 66 fastback mustang I bought on the web and paid way to much for. what was told to me to be a good running 289 smokes like a pig when it gets hot. so I am stuck looking for a motor and based on the fact that I am already in the car to much I was hoping someone out there might have a great deal on a good 289. please let me know I can use all the help I can get!!
