Need a new brake backing plate

i have a 1966 mustang 6 chassis it needs a new backing plate for the rear drum brakes i don't know of anywhere that sells this part. the cars wheel popped off and flattened the bottom of the backing plate

You have to check one of the sites that deals in "used" parts to get it.
Where are you located??

im in berkeley ca. I think that is my best bet to try to get a used one in good condition. otherwise the best idea ive gotten is to replace the whole driveaxle which is a pain.

There is a mustang junk yard in fontana, CA. They will get you the part of one of their cars and mail it to you. I don't use them very often because they are expensive.
