You aren't the first and I've heard many warnings to go to a professional shop first where they can cut and bend what you need. Be sure you have your emergency brake hardware installed and adjusted since the usual technique is to run from the headers inward and along the transmission tunnel, mufflers in body depressions then branch out to the sides, over the axle and around the sides of the gas tank. If the e-brake and driveshaft are not in place, you can later have a conflict.
Excluding headers the job cost here is about $400 including mufflers (Dynomax Superturbos) plus H or X pipe if you want one. I chose to use neither H or X because of e-brake cable clearance and clearance around the drive shaft. I use Hooker Comp 6901-1 headers. Sound is smooth rumble during acceleration in 1-4 then fairly quiet in 5th.
