with a 64cc chamber and flat top pistons.. you can run MORE timing.. you probably only have about 9.25-1 compression..

you've kind of got a mismatch of parts there.. the heads are a little to big for a mild 289.. the performer will help some, but it's going to be kind of flat on the bottom end..

also, what cam?
