No Reverse on C4 66 coupe 200 I-6
 

All was going well, then I went to go into reverse and no go. I went from N to R then P to R and it started again. But now it is completely gone? Seems to go into D ok, since it works in drive, does that mean the fluid level is good?. Help Just read about a low-reverse band? could this be the problem?

Took the transmission fluid pan off, inside i found metal shavings and a very well intack small lock washer. what you all think? did it come from the valve body inside? This is the car with no reverse
