Default one weird problem

well now I have a problemwith my othermustang. it is also A 66 200 inline.

this morning I went out to start it up after about A minute it sounded like it blew something. and then froze. I opened the hood and there was coolent coming out of one of the freez plug holes. then I looked closer and the freez plug was inside the block and I saw some nicks on one fo the cylinder walls(the out side) well I tried to start it again to see if it would and it did. then I shut it off real quick. then I pulled the freeze plug out and put A new one in. now the car isn't idleing at all. it will start only when I give it alot of gas and as soon as I let of the gas it die's. one ofmy friends sad maybe the freez plug nicked the cylender wall when it went back in the engine. and now there's alitle hole in the wall so there is no compression. I have no idea so advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought this car about A week ago. and it seemed to be driving allright since.

thanks

Something is missing from this story. How did the freeze plug get into the cavity?
