painting or replacing seals
 

I'm gonna have someone repaint my 'stang. should I replace the door, window, and windshield first or after the pant job....I do have some rust under my seals and some places under the seals could use new paint. any advice would be helpful.

The door is a definte before paint, the windshield can be done either way. My personal opinion is remove the windows and treat the rust and paint, then be careful and reinstall after.

If you're going to the expense to paint it and you have some rust concerns, well now is the time to address them. Remember rust never sleeps !!

I would remove all the glass and the doors. Get your rust and body work handled then paint work.

You'll be glad you did it.
