I agree with Jeff65 , looks like the weld is in the wrong placs . Did you preassebbel the parts before yoy installed them? Take them off and try to turn, flip, rotate ect. them to see what the deal is . I would then take the parts and pic to where i bought the kit and let them know what you found.
