Post Power brake conversion

Looking to add power brake booster to 67 mustang, but don't want to spend $400 for kit.
I can order rebuilt booster thru parts store for about $150 what else is required.

Master cylinders are different bore for power and manual brekes. Also different for disk/drum and all drum brakes.

Thumbs up

I added powerboster to my 66. I used the booster, master, and poportining valve off of a 1980 mustang. I had to make an adaptor plate for the fire wall and an extention addaptor to connect the push rod to the break peddle. Works great!

Exclamation

Here is a nice page for adding power brakes to a falcon. Would be very similar for a Mustang. May be even easier since the 67 engine bay has more room. http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/T.../pwrbrake.html
