worth saving a 84 85 302?

my friend was going to sell me a complete 84-85 year 302 block. this is a carbed stock block...what would be the downside to this block. what problems would i encounter. are these hydrolic or solid or roller? i realy dont know anything about this year block.

the 85 GT block was a hydraulic roller block and only the GT block, carbed 4bbl, 210hp 285tq(i think) fairly durable motor, only year for the cylinder head that comes with it i believe. from the ppl i know with these motors, they have caused no problem to them except the one had a rear main seal go bad. hopefully that helps a bit.

on the heads i found 2j24 and 2k4

on the block i found eoae d5c and also 138c whatever that means. can anyone id these?

look for an E4 or E5, I think the casting # is by where the starter mounts..
