Shocks
 
Hey Guys im new to the Board. I need shocks. I and doing a resto mod on a 65 fastback. 289 4 speed. Its going to be drive often and maybe even a little street racing:eek: any hints or suggestions? Thanks

front shocks are going to be the most important as you need the control there, so i would recomend either the kyb gas-adjust shocks or the new edelbrock shocks. some people like the edelbrocks better. for the rear, the above shocks are also recomended, but you can also install air shocks. just remember to;
a) add large washers between the shock bushing and the body to prevent the shock punching through the mount, and
b) run seperate lines for each shock so you dont get a jacking effect when cornering.
