Re: 1969 mustang

David I don't recall seeing them on the 69 but my 70 had them on the back of the hood scoop. If you can't get a straight answer go to www.network54.com/Forum/119419/ and you can get a straight answer there.

Re: 1969 mustang

Hey David I wasn't questioning your judgement I was just letting you know I don't have alot of background with 69's. I am glad to see you have the clarification on it though. Did you get a chance to check out the forum yet? There is a wealth of knowledge and some of todays best FORD men on the site. Best of luck and have you driven a FORD lately?

My '69 is a plain fastback and I have front disc brakes.

Re: 1969 mustang

my father has a 1969 fastback and the hood scoop is exactly like that one and its still working.

i have never seen a 1969 even early 70's with disk brakes. all ive seen is drum brakes. those cannot be original

Re: 1969 mustang

Disc brakes were an option that approximately 28% of Mustangs had for 1969. They were not available on the six-cylinder cars. My Fastback disc brakes are original.
