front disc brake for my 67 mustang coupe

Gentlemen, I would like to change over to front discs on this car.I have heard that upto 73 maveric or 74 granada will swop over?I will need the spindles, and other items on in this swop,I want to stay with factor parts rather than use after market. Will there be any bump steer problems and I think I will need to use the mastercyl. for the application I take the brakes from I think.I'm looking for these parts and any info. that you can suggest. Thanks for any help you can give. Re: front disc brake for my 67 mustang coupe

I got the Granada swap kit for my '66 from Jim's Mustang in El Cajon Ca. All new parts except the good used spindles and and rebuilt calipers. Even included the new adjustable proportioning valve and new hoses. Cost me about $650 for the kit a few years ago (4-5?). I did later upgrade to power brakes which neccessitated another new MC ($500 for booster and MC from NPD). I also put in Praise Dyno pads and shoes with new hardware ($150 from Praise Dyno). The car now stops well and stays straight when doing so. Believe me it wasn't much fun when everyone else on the road could stop faster than I could (several near misses).

I did the granada swap, bought the disc/spindle assembly from a junkyard for $45, then bought new rotors and calipers from the local parts store. I also upgrade to late model mustang rims, which is the only problem i have had with the granada swap. (my tires can rub on the inner frame rail thing if i turn it too far) I just need to make some steer stops. Im still running manual brakes, which is working fine for me. I did swap MC's to one for a 67 mustang i believe...

oh, and i would suggest an adjustable pushrod for your MC, that would have saved me a large headache...
