Mach 1 Hood Engine size decals or stripes?
 

What determines whether the engine size decal goes on the hood or not? I am redoing a 70' w/shaker and 428 automatic. Maybe this was discussed before and all info related to this as to what cars got stripes, engine displacement, decals and such?

I think all the 428 had the plaque on the hood

if you mean the 428 plaque on the hood, wasn't it on the hood scoop as I have a shaker car?

dont know if your still checking this thread,but if you are get a free mustangsunlimited
catalog,its got all the strips and paint jobs, domintions and locations of all classic mustangs
tells you what kind of mustangs each strip or paintjob was put on. dont know but maybe it will help
