Should I remove heater?
I have the interior of my 67 completely removed at the moment. I have an urge to get rid of the heater. I only drive the car on nice days and the heater seems to only add to the interior heat, making a nice warm day even warmer. Would I ever regret removing it? I never use the defroster, most of my driving is done with the windows down in northern california.

Re: Should I remove heater?
Not sure about the 67, but my 65 had the right side fresh air vent as part of the heater box. Rather than remove the assembly, why not just remove the 2 heater hoses from the heater and connect them together? That way there is no hot water going in at all, but you will still have the vent operations. And you can easily change back if you ever do need the heat.

Re: Should I remove heater?
Good idea! I'll remove the heater core from the box, and loop the hoses (eventually capping them for a cleaner look). Thanks for the reply!

Re: Should I remove heater?
Yeah, that's the way to do it. Less work for you, both now and later if you decided you wanted the heater back in. Plus you can still use the defrost if you need to. I hear it does rain occassionally, even in CA.;)
