Shifter T-handle

Hey guys. This might seem fairly obvious, but I thought I would ask before digging in. I have a 66 coupe with an automatic (no console)that I just purchased a shifter bezel and T-handle for. The bezel is a no brainer but I was wondering about the handle. Is there some correct procedure for removing the old and installing the new one? I have never looked at anything but exploded diagrams in catalogs that don't tell me much. I guess this is all basically in reference to the cable and button setup. Thanks in advance for any help as I thought I would ask before tearing in.

Shifter is just as easy as the bezel. Just remove the set screw and lift up and tword the drivers side (if I remember correctly).

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna dig in when it stops raining.
