Updating a Classic

A friend wants me to help transplant a multi-port injected 5.0 into a 1966 hardtop. He already has a 1988 full size ford as a donor. The technical situation is under control, as I work on late model drivability daily. However, I would liek to know if anyone has done this before, and what kind of surprises are ahead. Also, he wants to retro fit front disc brakes, power steering, and change the differential to a 5 lug axle. Any ideas as to part suppliers? Thanks in advance. Chris

i used headman headers for a 67 mustang on my 67.had to buy a crossmember for my aod.the only problem i have had is that my steering is very quik and car likes to dart around, frt end is all new. i'm hoping that the late model pump puts out mo0re pressure than the early model and that i can put a larger pulley on it and slow the pump down a little, used a nine inch out of a 69 coupe, frt brake form granada

5.0 into early model mustang swaps are covered ad nauseam in the mustang magazines.
