I recently purchased a pair of competition engineering connectors from Summit for around $86.00. I think they are good quality and fit nice and tight up on the floor boards. I also bought the bolt-on one's so I can use the bolts or weld them. Hope this helps.

I to purchased the competition engineering connectors from Summit. They are very good peices and fit great under my car. Summit should have them for a 67 they have everything I have ever wanted and are always the lowest price. Mine are the bolt ons also just because I couldn't get them welded at the time, but I will be getting them welded and highly recomend you do the same.

Hey guys, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I was planning on getting bolt on connectors but then once in place just weld them since it would be easier than welding someone holding them. if anyone has any advice i'd love to hear it, thanks again.

I went with the Total Control sub frame
connectors, you have the option of purchasing
a cross brace for further stength. www.totalcontrolproducts.com

That's the key issue is cost, the TC one's are nice but what are you looking to gain on your car. The description of your car makes me think that you are wanting to go straight and fast. If you are more into road racing maybe the TC is for you. The other drawback to the TC one is you might have to modify your exhaust, now which one sounds better for the wallet http://216.59.112.100/interactive/msgboard/confused.gif

Straight and fast is mostly what i want my car to do but it's my daily driver so handling is also important, although i dont plan on doing any autocross stuff. i looked at the total control web site and my exhaust looks exactly the same as the one in the picture so i dont think i would have to change it, i hope.
