Control Arm Lowering

Has anyone lowered their upper control arm mounting points, if so, how hard was it, how were the results?

That was one of the 1st things I did to my 66 convertible. I dont remember how it was before because the front end was shot when I got the car. My mechanic did the work , I made the template for him while he did some of the other replacements. We spent approx. 1/2 hour drilling the holes, the rest of the time is the same as replacing the upper arm. I like the way it looks, combined with the 620 springs the front is lowered approx 2 inches. Good luck

Do you guys think 17" wheels would rub if I were to do this? What size tires are you using HOTELBLDR?
