70 Mustang
Hello all, I'm ney to this Mustang stuff. I have a question how does a 1970 Mustang rate compared to the other years? Were they one of the best that were made? please help. thanks all.

In my personal opinion the 70 fastback is the most desirable of all early mustangs. I like them all and own a 66 and a 72. I do like the looks of the 69 better, but 70 running gear is better as far as I am concerned.

thanks for the info.

I am a little biased owning a 69 but these two years were some of the best for fastbacks. The aerodynamics and aggressive look are hard to beat and as time goes on they will appreciate well. I read recently that a 69 Boss went for 75K!

1970 and 1969 shared the same chassis and most body panels, with the exception of the front end treatment and a few options. I'm not really all that familiar with that body style. I know enough to get by.
In my personal opinion, I think the 70 looks awesome, but the 69 looks meaner and more aggressive. a 69 Boss going for 75 K?????? They usually got any where from 27-47 K. Must of been a celebrties car or Larry Shinodas personal vehicle or something to go for that price. ------------------ 64 1/2 "D" code Red Mustang Coupe. 289, C4, Mallory duel point.
