will a 1978 302 fit in a 66
 
hi, am am looking to put an new engine in my 1966 mustang coupe and i have found an newly rebuilt 78 302 and i was woundering if the engine will need to be modified to fit or work corectly?

You can put any 302-5.0 from 68-93 into it as long as you have the correct harmonic balancer for the set up.
