Replacing the fan
I'm trying to replace the fan in front of the radiator on my 67. Am I going to have to remove the entire radiator? I can't figure out how to get the old fan off without doing that. I hope there is an easier way.

I think it's possible to do it with the radiator in. At least I've done it on my '66. Having said that, I now remove my radiator because I've always banged up the radiator fins when doing it with it in. Also it's a tight fit in there with an open end or box end wrench where I always bang up my knuckles as well as the radiator fins.

I agree with Rev. You can get it off, but you chance, and a pretty good chance at that, screwing up the radiator. The rad. isn't that hard to pull.

thanks. Sounds like it's worth the work.

I've done it twice on my 68 without removing the radiator. Not that difficult but a little tight. Yes, you have to be careful around the radiator and also wear some gloves if you leave the radiator in - those fins like to tear into your knuckles.
