lens for instrument cluster

I'm restoring my interior on my '68 mustang..the problem, I can't find any replacement lens for my bulbs on the instrument consol. Mine are melted and discolored. None of the magazines I've looked through have the replacements.

I'm assuming you are reffering to the greenish covers over the bulbs, well I dont know where to find those either, but I do know they sell blubs that fit that application already colored. Now these may not give off the same exact color, but if they dont, they usually give off a brighter or more modern look. If yer going for the stock look, they might not be what yer looking for, but if yer going custom or just something different, it will probably work great. I made clear lenses for my turn indicaters on my hood and stuck in blue bulbs(same bulbs fit instrument lights) that a got from from Kragen that actually gave off a sometimes blue sometimes green glow depends on how you look at it. They might match the gauges, so maybe you can try those. I dont know the bulb number off hand and since my car is an hour away *sniff sniff* i cant check real fast, but what I learned with matching bulbs is that most of the time, if they fit, they work....hope this has helped some, good luck with yer 68

When I asked a restorer friend of mine for amber replacement bubls he said...just one minute. Took out a small bottle of a matching amber paint, and painted the bulbs..they look great, perfect match..maybe a way to go.
