Default Problems!!

Well I'm not trying to drop a massive amount of money into my straight 6 200 ci that is in my 65 because I'm dropping a 302 in it very soon!! But for now....I want to stop the NASTY putting when I press on the gas....it seems like the car doesn't want to go in 3rd. And in second I barely have any power?! it just now started to happen...if you guys have any suggestions...please let me know on what it could be...thanks

The 6 cylinder distributor has only vacuum advance. Check the vacuum line for leaks. Good luck.
